Macclesfield Town have signed defender Rikki Bains from Corby Town.
The player, who began his career at Coventry, has played League football for Accrington in 2006/7 before moving to Tamworth where he played 21 conference matches. He also had a short spell on loan at Leek.
Manager Keith Alexander told Macc’s official website (www.mtfc.co.uk) ‘I am pleased to final get Rikki to the club.
He’s a young lad, who is very much one for the future and he has an opportunity over the next few months to prove to us that he is deserving of a longer term deal. He can play across the back and gives us some extra cover which is something we need and from what I have seen so far, he’s keen and eager to do well.’

You can never have too many centre halves in a team. Some can even do a job in a striking role
