Macclesfield Town travel to Rotherham this weekend to take on the miller at their temporary Don Valley stadium ground.

Rotherham United have had a great season considering their start on -17 points and have managed to pull well away of the relegation battle.

Although they are unbeaten at home since November, they have lost three consecutive away matches in the build-up to this game, proving that they are far from invulnerable as the Silkmen look to make it five games unbeaten. The Silkmen’s last two games have seen four points against the top two clubs in the division, keeping two clean sheets along the way.

Macclesfield Town could be without Izak Reid who took a knock against Wycombe on Tuesday night, but new signing Rikki Bains may slot straight in, unless Keith Alexander decided to return to local youngster Matthew Flynn.

Former Silkman Ritchie Barker is out with injury for Rotherham as the Silkmen continue their push top get into the top half of the division.
