Rooney and Ince Make International News

Big names make a difference in football as the Silkmen have recieved plenty of coverage over the past week thanks to Paul Ince and John Rooney.

Whilst Sky Sports News was reporting live from the ground last night, with interviews from Chairman and Manager, The Sun today carries a full page on the comparison between John and Wayne’s clubs.

But the Silkmen are now international, as the story of Wayne’s brother signing a deal with the club making the news in the Hong Kong Standard, The Melborne Herald and Fox Sports!

With the club currently on a trip to Northern Ireland and the Chinese Superleague side Chengdu Blades visiting the club later this month, international coverage may yet continue.
