Northwich 0-3 Macclesfield

Goals from Ross Draper, Matty Tipton and Colin Daniel gave the Silkmen the 3-0 win.

Draper scored after just 11 minutes thanks to good attacking work from Emile Sinclair. The former forest winger crossed fro the right after finding space, finding Colin Daniel at the far post. He nodded the ball back to Ross Draper 18 yards out, and he lashed the ball home with a good volley.

Jon Brain had to make two saves one-onone as the home side rallied but the Silkmen hit the post in the second half and doubled the lead with 15 minutes to go.

Matty Tipton scored the goal out of nowhere with a shot on the turn that flew in at the far post from all of 20 yards.

Five minutes later it was essentially game over as Colin Daniel took the ball into space and lashed an unstoppable shot into the bottom left corner.
