The Silkmen’s second match of the pre-season tour with Northern Ireland sees them face Lisburn Distillery.

Distillery are Northern Ireland’s oldest club and finished fourth in the top flight last season.

They are also the fourth highest holders of the Northern Irish League title.

Lisburn have already featured in competitive football this season, and European competition to boot.

Last month they played Finnish club Turun Palloseura in the first leg of the Intertoto Cup, and were beaten 6-3 over two legs, losing 3-2 at home and 3-1 away.

Darren Armour scored both goals in the first leg whilst sub Gary Browne hit their consolation in the away leg.

Keith Alexander looks set to continue his policy of using senior players in the first half pre-season and has said he will be looking at using his planned first team after returning from Ireland.

But will it be another run out for Brisley and Reid, who played 170 and 180 minutes over two days earlier in the week?!
