Macclesfield Town are giving a trial to former Aston Villa striker Shane Paul.
The player featured in the second half against Manchester United.
A quick striker with an eye for goal, Shane Paul is 19 years old and has represented England at Under 16, U17 and U18 levels where he was a regular on the scoresheet.
He also hit the back of the net for Aston Villa Reserves last season for whom he played regularly as they narrowly missed out on the League title.
