Keith Alexander has said that he hopes to have further transfer news this week.

Speaking to the official site about the signing of Lee Bell, he said:

‘We should be in a position to announce a few more additions to the squad over the course of the ten days or so. We’ve had some good discussions with potential targets and subject to reaching a final agreement we should have some more news on that front later this week.’

This is good news for Silkmen supporters who have often been critical in the past of managers making slow starts to signing players for the new season.
