The Silkmen take on Buxton at Silverlands in the penultimate pre-season game of the season.

With a strong Manchester United side coming to the Moss on Monday, this may be a mixed side, but may give another chance for fans to see trialist Mikael Wolski. But will Brian Horton introduce any new trialists?

Managed by the highly experienced Nicky Law, formerly the boss of of Chesterfield, Bradford and Grimsby the Bucks are on their way back up.

Buxton were promoted into the Northern Premier League Division 1 last season after finishing as champions of the Northern Counties East Football League Premier Division.

Former Silkman Leroy Chambers signed for the Bucks in the summer. Leroy played 22 times for the Silkmen during the League Two promotion season.

Situated 1000 feet above sea level, the Silverlands is the highest ground within the Pyramid of soccer.
