The Silkmen had trialists Mickael Wolski (pictured right above) on trial for them last night in the 2-0 win over Hyde United. Wolski was with Stockport last season.

The 27 year old started his career with FC Gueugnon, making his debut in 1998 in the French Second Division. He was with the club when they made history by being the first D2 club to win the French League Cup in 2000.

He moved on to Boulogne sur Mer where he would later be jioned by World Cup star Frank Ribery, and played 35 games in the 2000/2001 season.

He spent 2002/2003 at French Division 3 GFCO Ajaccio where he played 20 times.

He then had a spell with Kilmarnock in Scotland before spending five months with Shamrock Rovers.

Then came the move to Stockport county where he played 24 times in all competitions, scoring twice. The first a low drive from outside the area against Grimsby and the second a 35 yard stunner in the FA Cup against Hereford

Injury meant he missed both the 6-0 demolition of County at the Moss Rose and their 2-0 away win.
