Brian Horton has said this afternoons game against Bristol Rovers is a ‘must win game’ for the Silkmen in an interview on the official site:

‘Saturday is a must win game for us. We’ve played very well in our last two games, it’s just a shame that one of them was in the Cup and we couldn’t claim three points. I’ve told the lads that there shouldn’t be a problem if they continue to perform like that. They need to keep it up and believe that they can do it.’

Adding:

‘Parky is very, very close to coming back now. He made a difference on the coach down to Torquay last weekend, no one can deny that he gives the team a boost. My only concern is that he might not be able to play more than maybe twenty minutes, however if he’s ready there may well be a spot on the bench for him. We’ll make a decision later on this afternoon.’

The line up for Macclesfield this afternoon is: Fettis, Bailey, Morley, Swailes, Bullock, Harsley, Beresford, Whitaker, McIntyre, Navarro, Wijnhard. Subs: Parkin, Miles, Briscoe, Smart, Deasy
