Macclesfield Town are asking for volunteers to help clear the snow from the terraces and pitch at the Moss Rose to get the ground ready for the home game against Crewe on 28th December.

The club are leaving the snow on the pitch to act as insulation from the predicted frosts over the next couple of nights, but work has already begun on clearing the terraces.

The club are asking for volunteers throughout the week to help with the clearing off the terraces and areas around the pitch, but the big day will be on Sunday 27th, when the club will need all the help it can get to remove any remaining snow from the covers to ensure the game goes ahead.

The club have asked that fans contact them ahead of Sunday to let them know if they can help out.
