The Silkmen are back at the Moss Rose after three straight away games. And the visitors are promotion chasing Chesterfield.

The Silkmen come into the game on the back of five straight defeats as they limp over the line towards another season in the Football League.

But the Silmen wstill need a win to be sure of remaining in the League, and a victory at the weekend would ease masse sof pressure on next weekend’s game at Chester City.

The Silkmen may be able to welcome back Franny Green who failed a fitness test on Tuesday night, but Shaun Hessey, James Jennings, Izak Reid and Rikki Bains all remain out injured.

For Chesterfield, Martin Gritton might miss a return to his former club with a back injury.

Supersticious supporters will be pleased to know that Chesterfield manager Lee Richardson was given the Manager of the Month award for April!

Come on lads now is the time to turn things around if you are to salvage anything this season, a win here and what should be a comfortable win next week should go a long way to boosting your confidence.
