The Silkmen face the Bantams at the Moss Rose in the first home League game of the season.

Both sides have wildly differing League and cup form coming into the game. The Silkmen were beaten 4-0 by Shrewsbury on opening day whilst Bradford were beating Notts County 2-1.

But the roles were reversed midweek when the Silkmen were 2-0 winners over Blackpool and it was Bradford’s turn to lose 4-0, at Huddersfield.

Bradford are amongst the pre-season favourites for promotion and will prove another tough test for a Silkmen side still on a high after the League Cup win.

Terry Dunfield will miss out for the Silkmen in the first of a three match suspension after his red card, unless the club appeal.
