The Silkmen finished their last home game of the season with a win as Nat Brown and Kris Dennis scored early and late goals.

Nat Brown took the lead for the home side with a great looping header after getting on the end of a pinpoint Lee Bell free-kick after just 90 seconds.

The Silkmen continued to press but the first half ended at 1-0.

The visitors got back into the match early in the second half and Adomah levelled the scores from close range as he turned in a low cross.

This prompted a spell of real pressure for the visitors and the Silkmen had Jon Brain to thank for one excellent stop.

But with the game coming into the final minutes, youngster Kris Dennis sealed all three points by reacting fastest to a lose ball and finishing crisply with his left foot.

It was his first senior goal, and the smile on his face said it all.
