Macclesfield Born Peter Crouch hit three as England stormed to a 6-0 win over Jamaica.

Crouch certainly answered some of his critics with the three goal salvo, despite also missing a penalty.

The local-born international has been seen watching the Silkmen at the Moss Rose in the past season, and also donated a signed shirt to the fundraising campaign when the club were hit with the FA fine.

Former Oldham and Bolton winger Jermaine Johnson featured for Jamaica. Johnson was once a target for the Silkmen under David Moss, but was sent off in a Bolton Reserve game causing the deal to fall through. He went on to move to Oldham on loan where he scored three in 13 games.
