Keith Alexander has said he was attending a reserve game where players may have been available.

Speaking to the Silkmen’s official website, he said: ‘I’ve been at a game today because there are always players who might be available, so I want the lads to stake their claim for their place in the team.’

This seems to imply that he is on the hunt for some fresh faces if the current side’s fortunes don’t improve in the coming weeks.
