The Silkmen gaffer was asked about the vacant Lincoln job after the Crewe match, and ruled himself out of the running.
Speaking after the game he said:
‘I’m not interested in the Lincoln job. I’ve taken lots of calls about it this week and I say the same as I said then – I’m not interested.’
He also implied that Nat Brown may start for the Silkmen in the weekend’s game against Barnet as a response to the goals conceded from set-pieces this season saying;
‘We’ve played good football all season but I’m disappointed as we aren’t getting our just desserts.
‘It’s my job to sort things out and I may make some changes as I have players coming back so I can move things around a little.’
