JJ’s Three Peak Challenge

Young defender James Jennings is back in full training following the injury he sustained back in February against Gillingham.

And whilst he is looking forward to playing again, it is unlikely that he will feature in our remaining two games, deciding instead to focus on building his strength for next season.

But any thoughts of an easy summer are out of the window as he has agreed to take part in an exciting challenge which will see him climb the highest three peaks in Scotland, England and Wales.

The objective is to complete all three of these in 24 hours along with his dad Seamus and brother Connor. The challenge will start at 5pm on Thursday 25th June 2009 at the foot of Ben Nevis (4406 ft) in Scotland, and from there it is onto Scafell Pike (3206 ft) in England before (hopefully) the finish at the base of Snowdon (3560 ft) in Wales.

All within 24 hours to match the Aim & Challenge.

‘I’ll be doing the walk with my Dad and brother. Before the injury I was worried that they might not be fight enough, but after the recent injury they may be carrying me around.’
