JJ and Blackman Sign

The Silkmen’s squad continues to take shape as Nick Blackman and James Jennings sign up for another year.

JJ came through the ranks two seasons ago and hit the heights against Chelsea as he man marked Andrei Schevchenko, who spectactuarly failed to score against nine men Macc with Dave Morley in goals.

Either side of a loan spell at Altrincham, where he played nine conference matches, JJ has made 23 appearances for the Silkmen over two seasons.

Nick Blackman has also committed to the Silkmen for the coming campaign.

The forward made his debut off the bench in the last game of the 2006/7 season.

Last year he made a further 11 appearances, with one start against Rotherham and one goal, in his first game of the season, against Dagenham.
