Horton Keen For Players To Sign

Brian Horton followed up the departure of Paul Harsley by stating his desire for the other out of contract players to say on.

Speaking to the Macclesfield Express he said: ‘We want them to stay, which is why they have been offered deals.

‘I spoke to Danny last week and he has left it with his agent to sort out. His agent has since offered him around several League One clubs. That’s his prerogative but I’d like him to stay.’

Meanwhile Kevin Sandwith has revealed that he would love to stay with Macclesfield despite being transfer listed.

‘All I can do is work hard and try and get back into the manager’s plans. I’d like a fresh start and I’m in no rush to leave.’
