Hartlepool United Preview

The Silkmen face Hartlepool in the first home game of the new season, and will hope to put the 4-0 defeat to Darlington behind them.

Hartlepool also didn’t get off to the best of starts as they lost 1-0 at home to Swindon.

Hartlepool, like Darlington, were amongst the pre-season favourites for promotion and it should be another tough test for the Silkmen.

The question on many Macc fans lips is whether the Blues will manage to bring a midfielder into the club before the game or will Jordan Hadfield be given his chance ahead of John Miles?

I’m afraid you are going to have to stay bottom of the league for a few more days, we’ll take our frustration out on you tonight. No team can create as many chances as we did on Saturday without scoring two games in a row.
