Matt Hamshaw, in the best form of his life since the somewhat salad days of Sheffield Wednesday and more recently Notts County & even Stockport, has been defrosted in time for The Port Vale clash.

To cut through the spin, the 28 year old right wing wizard was ruled out of the Wycombe win with a knee injury. This has required ice treatment after every training session or match with perhaps the odd Celtic wail from a local Druid in the background to ensure he can play.

This week has seen a complete rest and Matt is set to start, if of course he can get into a winning team.

Captain Morgan will be back too after a slight strain sustained at Wycombe. Reckon he could be doling out double rations of rum if we storm the Port.
