The Silkmen’s Reserves were 4-1 winners against Port Vale at the Moss Rose.

Emile Sinclair opened the scoring after rounding the ‘keeperin the first half, but Port Vale’s trialist Wayne Gray levelled from just inside the area.

But the Silkmen bossed the game in the second half scoring three more goals without reply.

First Shaun Brisley headed in from a corner, then Ben Wright powered a great strike in from a narow angle, and Kris Dennis completed the scoring after picking up on a poor back-pass and slotting pas the ‘keeper.
