Early summer odds for the Silkmen suggest that the Silkmen are in for a more comfortable season at the Moss Rose.
This is a real departure from recent years which has seen the Macc Lads fluctuate from relegation favourites to hot tips for promotion..
But despite the lowly finish last season, the Bookies see the Silkmen amongst those clubs who will be competing in mid-table and fighting for a play-off place.
At this early stage, there will be many changes to the odds, even before a ball is kicked, but every Macclesfield fan will be hoping that the bookies are correct as they predict an improved season for the Silkmen.

” can you get into the playoffs next season?”
i think they can, if they can add abit more quality. bit harsh on torquay i think they can go up, they have made some good signings so far
Those odds are awful. No way are we joint 2nd favourites for relegation. Did they not see our promotion form since Christmas when the current manager in charge took over. How they have come up with those odds is a complete joke!
Its early days yet, and most odds will be set on the previous seasons final standings.
