The season starts here as the Silkmen play their annual match at Congleton Town on Wednsday night.

Last season, the Silkmen were 6-0 winners at Booth Street, after fielding a strong squad.

Macclesfield manager Brian Horton has stated that he will be taking the entire first-team squad down the A536.

This will be the supporter’s first chance to have a look at new signings, Marvin Robinson, Carl Regan, Colin Heath and goalkeeper Jonny Brain.

Congleton’s Booth St ground is easy to find. Approach Congleton from Macclesfield and go straight over the first roundabout at the bottom of the hill. Turn left at the roundabout at the top of the hill and then the second road on the right.

The ground is up the hill past the cricket pitch and there is plenty of street parking.
