The Silkmen ended their trip to Northern Ireland with defeat as a mixed side lost 1-0 to Coleraine.

The only goal of the game came when Jon Brain was adjudged to have fouled the home side’s attacker as they went for a loose ball.

Second half sub Danny Thomas had the Silkmen’s best chance but shot wide in a good workout for the players against a side described by Alexander as ‘by far the stronger of the three sides we have played’
