The Silkmen face Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium this week.

The Silkmen put their winless run bhind them at the weekend with a 2-1 win against Torquay, coming from behind to win thanks to Hamza Bencherif’s double.

Meanwhile, the home side were beaten 1-0 at Bournemouth.

The Silkmen will have an almost full squad to pick from with Shaun Hessey out and a question mark ovr Kyle Wilson.

Meanwhile, Lee Bell’s reserve side red card will only men a suspension in the Reserves and he is available for the match after an excellent perfomance at the weekend.

The big question facing Keith is whether to start talismanic forward John Rooney. His arrival on Saturday helped lift the crowd and helped play a part in the three points.

The decision to play him from the start or use him as an imact player off the bench will be the key choice for the Manager.
