The Silkmen have confirmed that they will be signing Mansfield’s Lee Bell, subject to him passing a medical.
The player will join the club on a one-year deal after Keith Alexander moved quickly to secure his services.
From Keith’s comments to the official site, he will form the midfield partnership with Terry Dunfield next season after the departure of Jamie Tolley.
With other signings expected within the next 10 days, the Macc boss is getting in early to ensure he has the players he wants for next season.
One new player is expected to be a goalkeeper after Tommy Lee was released. With Lincoln stalwart Alan Marriott now available, might Alexander be moving for the custodian who kept goal in four consecutive play-off campaigns?

KA signing a midfielder. I hope he has a neck brace as the ball is going to be flying over his head. Sign Marriott and Morgan and you will be watching 5-2-3.
