Alfreton Town

The Silkmen are to take a side to face Alfreton Town on July 26th for a pre-season friendly.

The club have played at the New Impact Arena once before in an FA Cup tie which ended 1-1 after Danny Whitaker’s late goal was cancelled out deep into injury time.

A visit to Alfreton should prove a good early test for the Silkmen’s new squad for the coming season but there is no information as yet whether it will be a full first XI or involve any trialists or fringe players.
