Alfreton 1-0 Macclesfield

Alfreton Town won the pre-season match against the Silkmen for the second consecutive season thanks to a goal after only 10 minutes.

The Silkmen had a decent spell through the middle of the match when John Rooney, Ben Wright and Paul Bolland could all have scored, but they failed to take the chances and the home side began to attack more.

But there was no more goals and the Silkmen left the game with only one goal from three pre-season matches.
